Microsoft has always been really excited about our technology solution and to be featured as Startup of the Day is fantastic - as this public recognition is a very clear indication that Microsoft has identified great potential in miiCard.
Having worked alongside us to build our Proof Of Concept, Microsoft was able to really understand our business concept and bought into it from the start. Paul Mackinnon, Senior Identity Adviser at Microsoft UK commented that,
So – Finovate Europe is over, things are calming down slightly and I've finally had some time to reflect on the event, its format and content. Finovate is not the 'usual' type of conference and as this is the first time it has been run in Europe people keep asking me what it was like – the obvious word that comes to mind is ‘intense’!
For those few in retail banking or consumer finance that don't know - yesterday was the first Finovate Europe event in London and what an event it was. A full day of 7 minute demos back to back, ending in a bit of brain-numbing information overload. It was well attended with 400 industry, press and startup participants covering 35 presentations in 4 slots.
