Last week we were at the first Trust In The Digital World event organised by Trust In Digital Life (TDL) and EEMA (The European Association for e-identity and security) and hosted by DG Connect at the European Commission.

Last month, we were pleased to announce our partnership with CV certifications service Veritas Vitae to combat CV fraud and help candidates stand out in their online job applications.

We are pleased to announce we will be launching the miiCard Drupal Module at Drupal Camp Scotland, in Glasgow on Saturday 20th April, 2013.

The 4th annual camp brings together Drupal developers from across the country, and beyond, for a day of community-led information and training sessions.

Market analyst and advisory company Ctrl-Shift has published a Briefing Paper “Breakthrough Efficiency: the power of volunteered information”.

As the issue and importance of trust online continues to gather momentum, it was fantastic to join some of our fellow Respect Network founding partners for the "Trust on the Internet" program on Trust Across America yesterday.

With creating trust online core to everything we do at miiCard, we love joining forces with other organisations working hard to make the Internet a safer place.

Last week we hosted the first Trust In Digital Life (TDL) meeting for the year. A European community formed by leading industry partners and institutes, TDL is working to increase trust levels, security and privacy on the web.

In his welcoming address miiCard's James Varga signaled the rise of customer-driven Bring Your Own Identity (BYOID) solutions as being core to creating greater trust online.

We were pleased to host the first working group meeting of the year for Trust In Digital Life at The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh on Monday, and it was fantastic to see the group making great progress on increasing trust levels, security and privacy in our connected, online world.
